Firstly, I should point out that most of my trips this year have been shared with other people. I've been so ~blessed~ to have spent time with two of my best friends from home in my beloved Italy and also have my mum and aunt come over for just under two months of solid city hopping around Europe. Coupled with a trip to Scandinavia with the lads last week (#cjttakescandi), I've had my fair share of holidays with fantastic people.
I've been extremely lucky this year to travel around Europe due to me being based in Milano this year. Here are some of my favourite photos/moments that I've taken so far and some words in no particular order.
Yes, I'm making a comeback like Adele. Unlike the legend herself, mine was only for about two years and no one actually cares.
Last year was one of the best years for me when it came to live music. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be varied: I saw Lianne La Havas, went to Future Music, Groovin the Moo, Splendour in the Grass (the holy grail), and I also saw 1D (no one saw that one coming).
If you haven't heard of Haim, where have you been all this time? The three sisters from LA have just released their debut album Days are Gone and it is the perfect soundtrack for summer. (Be warned: it is also addictive and you will want to dance around with the wind blowing in your hair.)
Christopher Bailey has a habit of making me want to wear things I thought I hated. Case in point: pastels and lace see through skirts. Those Brits are onto something...
Not only is Alex Turner one of the best lyricists of our time, he also makes me want to gel my hair up into a quiff, throw on a battered leather jacket and ride off into the sunset on a motorcycle.
